Armed Forces Day event grants, deadline 30 April 2018 26 January 2018 Armed Forces Day takes place on the last Saturday each June. In 2018, it will take place on Saturday 30 June. The Ministry of Defence offers grants of up to £10,000 to hold a event on or in the weeks around Armed Forces Day. Voluntary and community groups are eligible to apply. The grant can cover up to half of the event costs. Interested? "For details on how to apply, first register your event with us. If you're worried that you don't yet have enough detail, don't - your registration can always be updated by emailing armedforcesday-events@mod.uk with a link to your post; please don't let a lack of detail prevent you from registering early." The deadline for applications is 30 April 2018.
